This memorandum stated that the sum of $3170.72 was for Postal notes as follows: - Hong Kong 4 Shanghai 4 ww X1487.36 226.73 898.35 338.28 Total $3170.72.

From stains book, it will be seen that Barradas was credited with the sum of $1487 + $226.73 = $1714.09 for the sale of Postal notes since the date of last payment on November 30, 1887.
